Artemis Italian Car show

On Sunday May 26, 2024 an Italian auto event for charity was held at Artemis Hill Farm in Chester, NY. This event was staged at Joe Nastasi's daughter's horse rescue farm which has a program for troubled and/or underprivileged youth, etc.

We had around two dozen Alfas attend out of approximately 150 registered Italian automobiles. NYAROC members Rob Rizzo and Joyce, Gary Pezzella and Josephine, Joey LoRe and son, Julian Ianotti, and Vic and Gail Cerami. Most of the other Alfisti were New Jersey chapter members and a few were Hudson Valley.

It appeared that there were more exotic cars per square inch than have ever been assembled at one location. Joe Nastasi drove up his incredible Miura and Joe Colasacco brought Mr. Lawrence Auriana's beautiful Ferrari 250. Gary Pezzella drove up and showed his cool Alfa 8C Spider. There were two on display, one of each, Spider next to the GT.

Joey LoRe and son showed multiple Alfas, a few they drove up from Greenport, LI.

The field was packed and the amazing set up was done by Matt Ligotti and his group from the North Eastern Car Club. Many were from his car club and from the 5 NYC Boroughs.

We handed out a number of AROC cards and Mag's, but most of the Alfisti there were already members.

Alfisti got some respect and adulation from the Tifosi, and Matt from NECC sent us a nice thank you.

All in, it was a very nice event, for a good cause, with great turnout and weather!
